KRB Mechanical Limited is currently seeking two (2) Refrigeration & Service Technicians with two (2) or more years of experience and holds either a G2 or G1 gas fitter license. The successful candidate will provide commercial and residential services as well as refrigeration installations all while maintaining excellent customer service and high-quality work. The Role: This role is best suited for someone who has the drive to work independently while also contributing their expertise, knowledge, and support to the team. The role requires a high degree of diagnostic and analytical skills to determine solutions on-site in a day to day work environment that will have little supervision. An outgoing personality and professionalism are key in delivering customer service excellence which is the KRB Mechanical brand. A high degree of communication and organizational skills are valued to support our efficiently run company. RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES • Diagnose causes of HVAC/R equipment operation failures; troubleshoot and perform repairs • Identify opportunities to improve the equipment life and effectiveness • Install refrigeration systems such as commercial walk-in coolers/freezers, Liebart and VRF systems • Keep accurate records and provide reports electronically to customers and administration • Deliver the KRB brand of professional customer service to clients and build superior customer relations • Maintain all required licenses and paperwork • Adhere to all site-specific health and safety protocols • Responsible for safe keeping and maintenance of all KRB issued property/vehicles • Attend meetings and team building exercises as scheduled JOB REQUIREMENTS • 313A – C of Q Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic certification • G1 or G2 gas fitter license • Ozone Depletion Prevention certification • Valid Driver’s License, bondable • 2-5 years commercial, industrial, and residential experience • Rotational “on call” is required as part of the position • Able to work with minimal supervision • Proven strong diagnostic skills • Exceptional communication skills • Good aptitude with tablet COMPANY BENEFITS • Hourly rate position(s) which is negotiable based on experience. • Health and dental benefits after successful first three months of employment • Pension plan, after successful first three months of employment • Employee Assistance Program • Company service vehicle • Cell phone and tablet, supplied. • Continued education/training assistance How to apply: If you feel that you are the candidate we are looking for and have the required skills and experience listed above, please send your resume and cover letter to or alternatively drop it off at our office.
